Biography

Vanessa Tibambuya graduated with first class honors in Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/ Marketing from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). She is experienced in Research and administrative responsivities with her current engagements with KNUST business school responsible for conducting administrative work, Research and assisting in teaching Business Law, Business Negotiations and Financial Services Marketing at sister university at Obuasi Ghana.

Vanessa specializes in Marketing and is experienced in developing Marketing Plans and Strategies for businesses, Sales Management and Customer Relationship Management systems. This interest inspired her to intern with The Multimedia Group of Companies- Luv FM and Nhyira FM as a Sales Executive where she drove sales via generating and selling advertising space to new clients. She also worked with a consultant under a three (3) months contract for Sankies restaurant creating an effective Customer Database System for the restaurant, restructured their social media presence with more creative and persuasive content and conducted market research leading to the successful launch of a new branch. Vanessa has mastered the science of creating and managing digital content to build relationships for organizations and individuals.

Also known for her passion in leadership and community-Give-Back, while in school she served as the Sponsorship Head for the Business Students Association. She volunteers as the Gender and Mentorship Director for the Learners Girls Foundation to promote literacy and skills development in rural areas. Her team secured funding to build the first library in the Kassena Nankana West District through the African Publishing Innovation Fund. She also empowered single mother through mentoring and entrepreneurial skills training. Vanessa believes that despite all our successes, we should continue to look for ways to give back to society.
